Bellingham has been the heart of England’s attack so far.

Good spelling from England. Dominate possession and cross into the box. Bellingham prioritizes everything they do well; He is first in everything.

The danger of Dia

At that moment you have Boulaye Dia, the speedy striker who is the big weakness of this England team, running behind Maguire and Stones. A word of caution.

The World Cup has ended

England have reached the semi-finals in 2018 and are looking to reach at least the quarter-finals of a World Cup for the first time since 2002/2006.

England have a 5-2 record in the Round of 16, and they lost on penalties to Germany in 2010 and Argentina in 1998.

Currently, the Senegalese team has reached the knockout stages of the World Cup for the second time. In 2002, they reached the quarter-finals and eventually fell to Turkey with a golden goal.

The golden goal against Sweden in the round of 16 in 2002 (pictured above) also marks the only time an African nation has beaten a European team in the World Cup knockout stages, with a total of nine chances.

Expecting England goals today?

England have scored 9 goals in 3 World Cup matches.

Only in the 2018 World Cup (12 goals) and 1966 (11 goals).

Senegal have failed to keep a clean sheet in 10 consecutive World Cup matches. The only clean sheet they have recorded in the tournament was a famous 1-0 win over France in their first game in 2002.

When I say tomato, I say tomato.

We are at Al Bayt Stadium. But one question that remains unanswered is his voice.

Al Bite or Al Bait? The security guard was not talking to me – we should have said Al Bet.

Someone please let Gary Lineker know.

Southgate will start signing Saka over Rashford

Before kick-off, Gareth Southgate was asked why he started Bukayo Saka over Marcus Rashford.

“Saka (Saka) was outstanding in our first two matches. Marcus also looks good and it’s great to have him ready when the game starts.

“We have wealth in the area, but Bukayo deserves its rights.”

On Senegal’s current challenges, Southgate said: “They are very direct. They have momentum. They are athletic and disciplined.

Playing with Iliman Ndiaye – in a soccer match

What was it like playing with Iliman Ndiaye?

The 22-year-old Senegalese striker, who has lit up the Championship for Sheffield United this season, has been playing non-league football recently and was in London on Saturday morning. They were given by two players who defended him at Victoria Park.

“I chased him down the field for two games. He never got close. He fooled me one or three times. I asked him his name after the game because I thought he would do it like a pro. He’s a humble player. When he could have run us by himself, he made bad passes to teammates. He didn’t show his talent when he needed it.”

Robert Niven, quarterback for Spiders from Mars

“After six minutes of our poor performance at Victoria Park on Saturday, he was obviously cut above. So I asked him why he was playing with us. He agreed to his next move and said no, he was enjoying the game because he could train with his current club. I couldn’t even get close enough to kick him, which is something I normally do.”
