The TV personality and former NFL player was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on January 23rd.
Michael Strahanformer New York Giants defensive end and current co-host of Good morning Americafinally received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Monday, January 23, at a ceremony in Los Angeles, California.
The 51-year-old was honored with friends and family by his side, including his long-term girlfriend, Kayla Quick.
The pair posed for photos behind Strahan’s emerging star, the TV host appearing in a slim plaid suit in shades of blue, while Quick wore a sparkling silver dress covered with a tan coat.
Quick and Strahan reportedly started dating in 2015, and have kept their relationship private over the years.
She doesn’t often appear on her high-profile partner’s social media, with one of the last times she was pictured on his Instagram in December 2021, when Strahan posted a photo of himself, Quick, and three of his four children –Michael Jr., Isabellaand Sophia– all wearing matching pajamas.
For work, Quick runs her own wellness brand, Fizzness, co-founded by Jamie Giardino.
Along with Quick, Strahan’s mother attended the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony. Louise Strahanand his three daughters, Isabella, Sophiaand Tanita.
Strahan has a close friend, an actor and TV host Terry’s teamwho introduced the star at the ceremony, saying, “Nothing symbolizes stardom more than Strahan,” as reported by ABC News.
He continued, “We were former athletes and you know, the thing is – I remember when you retired and we were sitting there talking about, ‘Was it should I try this Hollywood thing?’ “
“When I see everything you’ve done since then, it’s so inspiring to me, to everyone out there as a Black person, as an athlete, because every American should be striving to be the kind of person you are. My word for Michael Strahan is ‘integrity’, the teams said.
Strahan is Good morning America harmony Robin Roberts She was also at the concert, and Strahan said to her, “I love you, Robin. You came all the way out here. Now, I have to buy you a better Christmas present.”
