Pokémon Scarlet and Violet have been available on the Nintendo Switch for a few weeks now and since their release, there have been many concerns expressed about the game’s technical issues. Although the ninth generation is a step in the right direction for the series with its new open-world gameplay, performance issues and bugs have made it difficult for some trainers to enjoy it.
Now, in an update, Nintendo has announced a new update for Scarlet and Violet will be released on December 1st (so called later today). In addition to the full notes on the official support page, it also apologized for the game’s problems and stated how it takes player feedback and aims to provide trainers around the world with a “good experience”.
“We know that players may encounter issues affecting the performance of games. Our goal is to give players a good experience with our games, and we apologize for the inconvenience. We take player feedback seriously and are working to improve the games.”
Regarding the update (Version 1.1.0), players can expect Season 1 level battles, music fixes and unspecified “some selected bug fixes”:
Ver. 1.1.0 (Released December 1, 2022)
– Season 1 of Ranked Battles will begin, allowing you to enjoy Ranked Battles in the Battlefield.
– Please check the in-game notification for more details about Fixed Wars Season 1.
– Fixed an issue that caused the music to not play correctly during battles with the Elite Four and Supreme Champion on Victory Road.
– Some selected bug fixes have been made.
