Norman Reedus and Michael Rooker reunited on the red carpet at The Walking Dead Finale.

After playing siblings on the screen, Daryl and Merle Dixon on The walking dead, Norman Reedus, and Michael Rooker reunited at the Red Carpet screening of the series finale. At the event, held at the Orpheum Theater in Los Angeles on November 20, the actors expressed their love and respect for each other, to the delight of fans everywhere.
Speaking to the media, Michael Rooker said that Norman Reedus is his favorite person in the world. “I like this guy,” he told the interviewer. “We’ve been hanging out for a long time and I love him. ” The mini-meeting ended as the pair hugged. In the rest of the red carpet content, current and former members of The Walking Dead gathered together to celebrate the show.
Fans were sitting far away and could be heard cheering the names of their favorite actors, who spoke about how they felt. When asked about the upcoming spinoff about Daryl Dixon, he told Variety that it’s very different in tone. “The sound is different. There’s a lot of French in it,” he explained. The actor also said they’d be shooting in castles. “It’s big in scale, but it’s a very singular scene and very poetic.”
Unfortunately, Norman Reedus will not reunite with Michael Rooker in the Daryl & Carol spinoff since his brother did not survive on the screen in the series. A zombified Merle was put down by Daryl after the Governor murdered him in an episode called “This Sorrowful Life.” Although the pair only appeared together a few times Walking dead events, like the Dixon sisters, they are connected for life.
A few years ago, the couple appeared in an episode of Ride that saw the fictional brothers exploring the historic city of Birmingham Alabama. They also had some fun in Atlanta before arriving in Senoia for a Walking dead a meeting Along with Norman Reedus and Michael Rooker, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Melissa McBride appeared in the unscripted series for a trip across Scotland, reports ComicBook.
At the same time, the last series of The walking dead delivering the show’s largest one-day audience in nearly two years. According to The Hollywood Reporter, star Norman Reedus drew 2.27 million viewers for his final episode. Although it may be a little shy of its ratings in the mid-2010s, it was still the number one as of February 2021, using the “beginning” of the end of the long-running show.
The walking dead the final level was up 66% over the one-day average for the last part of this fall’s events. It was also up about 37% over the average for the entire 11th season. Additionally, the episode’s 0.66 rating among adults 18 to 49 was the series’ best rating since February 28, 2021. Now that the iconic series is over, fans can to look forward to Daryl & Carol created by Angela Kang and Scott M. Gimple. The story stars Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride as Daryl and Carol.
