
The Black List coming to an end.
The popular NBC series is set to end for good after its tenth season, which premieres on February 26, the network announced Wednesday. The show will also celebrate its 200th episode on March 19.
“After 10 years, hundreds of Black list issues and more than 200 episodes produced, we are honored to reach our decision,” executive producer John Eisendrath said in a statement. Force weekly.”
He continued, “We’d like to thank everyone at NBC and Sony, our amazing team that makes the impossible happen every day, our endless writers and producers, and our amazing team that brought life for these characters. We appreciate our dedicated fans who have come along for this great ride and are excited to share this final season with them.”
With the news, NBC shared the first look at the final season of The Black List which promises one “last ride” for US Navy Intelligence officer Raymond “Red” Reddington (James Spader).
“It’s not often that a series is so deeply loved by audiences that it runs for 10 seasons, but The Black List has been the perfect combination of extremely talented producers, award-winning writing, a cast that never delivers and a cast that always rises to the occasion,” said Lisa Katz, president of scripted content at NBCUniversal Television and Streaming, in a statement. “Many thanks to our partners at Sony, everyone over the last ten years who have made this show an integral part of NBC’s storied history and, of course, a special nod to James Spader, whose performance remains nothing short of spectacular.

The Black List star Spader confirmed that the crime thriller would be back for a tenth season when he appeared on it The Tonight Show Jimmy Fallon is the star Last year.
“We just got picked up just this afternoon,” he told host Jimmy Fallon in February 2022. “Everybody was busy trying to make it so we could announce it on the show. We just got picked up for the tenth season.”
As fans of The Black List You will know, the show – which was shown for the first time in 2013 – reports on Red who disappeared off the grid and became one of the FBI’s 10 Most Wanted Fugitives. After surrendering to the authorities, he offered the FBI a blacklist of criminals.
The season finale picks up as Red faces a new threat after solving Liz Keen’s (Megan Boone) murder. At the end of season 9, No. 84 blacklisted from prison and tells his fugitives that Red is an FBI informant putting him in danger as they seek “deadly revenge”.
The new season will also see Anya Banerjee joining the cast The Black ListTVLine reported.
The actress is slated to play Siya Malik – an active Intelligence Officer for the UK’s Secret Intelligence Service known as MI6 – who is the daughter of the late Meera Malik (Parminder Nagra), who died in season 1.
Spader and Banerjee will be joined by returning members Diego Klattenhoff, Hisham Tawfiq, and Harry Lennix.

The final season of The Black List premieres February 26 at 10pm ET on NBC.
