Earlier, Argentina was stunned by Saudi Arabia until Denmark AND Tunisia played in a goalless draw. Mexico AND poland also struggled to a goalless draw.

Olivier Giroud, the second-highest goalscorer in French history, put his side in front with a central pass into the box from Rabiot.

Mbappe connected with Giroud on a cross which led to another French goal to make it 4-1. Giroud’s header is his 51st international, tying him with Henry for the most in French history.
